Both ancient and modern, timeless yet trendy, traditional but daring– the one-and-only Scottish Kilt! Born hundreds of years ago in the Gaelic Highlands, the kilt has spread all over the world and is perfect for formal occasions, historical festivals, and everyday wear.
The Modern Kilt is a one-piece garment that fits around the waist and hangs to the knees, with pleats in the back and is (usually) woven in a Tartan pattern. Our kilts are a standard 5yd, 24" drop, knife pleats.
Our kilts come in a variety of sizes, so use the Sizing Chart on the F.A.Q. page to ensure the best fit. The Polyviscose Kilts are made of five full yards of fabric. Polyviscose is a synthetic material that is lighter than wool, more resilient than acrylic, with bright, rich colors, and a smooth, comfortable texture. (We recommend dry cleaning for longevity).
